Everything you need to know about getting started, fees, and how care works. If you do not find your answer here, please reach out directly.
What services do you offer?
I provide comprehensive psychiatric care through secure virtual sessions. This includes initial psychiatric evaluations, psychotherapy, and medication management. Together, we will determine the right approach for your needs, whether that is therapy, medication, or a combination of both.
Do you offer virtual sessions only?
Yes. All sessions are conducted via a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. This allows you to receive high-quality psychiatric care from the comfort and privacy of your own home, anywhere in Illinois, Florida, Wisconsin, or Indiana.
What are your fees?
Initial evaluation: $400 (60 minutes)
Follow-up appointments:
- Medication management: $200 (25 minutes)
- Psychotherapy with or without medication management: $340 (50 minutes)
Payment is due at the time of service. I accept credit, debit, and HSA/FSA cards.
Do you accept insurance?
I am an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. However, I can provide you with a superbill (an itemized receipt) that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement, depending on your plan. Many patients find that they receive partial reimbursement for out-of-network mental health services.
Do you offer a free consultation?
Yes. I offer a complimentary 15-minute phone or video consultation. This gives us a chance to discuss your needs, answer questions, and decide if working together feels like a good fit before scheduling a full evaluation.
How do I get started?
- Schedule a free consultation.
- Complete intake forms securely online.
- Attend your initial evaluation via video.
- Begin your personalized treatment plan.
What if I am not sure whether I need medication or therapy?
That is completely okay. The initial evaluation is designed to explore your history, symptoms, and preferences. We will discuss whether psychotherapy, medication, or both may be helpful. The final decision is always collaborative and centered on what feels right for you.
Do you prescribe controlled medications such as stimulants or benzodiazepines?
I prescribe these medications only when clinically appropriate and in accordance with state and federal guidelines. We will always review the risks, benefits, and alternatives before making any decision about your treatment.
How often will I need to meet with you?
Frequency depends on your individual needs. Typically, after an initial evaluation, follow-up appointments occur every 2 to 6 weeks for medication management, while psychotherapy sessions may be weekly or biweekly. We will adjust the schedule together based on your progress.
